ABOUT THE RIVER BIBLE INSTITUTE

If there was ever a time a generation needed revival, it is now, and there is a new wave of ministries being birthed out of revival that is about to sweep the earth. These are the true revivalists that God is raising up to proclaim the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ to their generation with signs and wonders following - men and women who are not satisfied with the status quo of religion and tradition, but who will run with God’s fire.

We want to invite you to join an army of men and women, young and old, who are ready to let their lives count for eternity - people who want to be used of God by the power of His Spirit to make an eternal impact on their generation.

SOME OF WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO EXPERIENCE

WORSHIP ELECTIVE

Students who commit to do the WORSHIP ELECTIVE will receive extra classes and tuition in music theory, aural training, practical performance and classes related to the leading of worship.

The WORSHIP ELECTIVE starts in the first year of study. Students with no prior experience in music theory are obliged to take the first year elective in order to continue with the second year elective. However, students who have music theory knowledge equivalent to Grade 3, may join the second year elective classes.

The purpose of these classes is to give students a basic knowledge and understanding of music notation (principally the reading of chord charts), basic arranging techniques, as well as become conversant with the underlying spiritual principles governing the leading of worship in a congregation.

Students may opt to do a formal Music Theory examination, either in May or October of the year of study, at an additional cost. The certificate received on successful completion will be issued by Trinity School Of Music (UK).
